Important part of Islands of Kinship is to gather outside reflection of the objectives of the project via various channels. One of these means of feedback is a series of memes created by artists and creators who are observing and actively commenting on the art world with its peculiarities and issues. We have invited few of the most visible meme creators of the art related online content to reflect upon what we are trying to achieve through the IOK project. Th third and most extensive series of custom made memes was created by the Prague-based artist creating under the nickname of avu_core.

avu_core is meme (fine) art studio, collective organ of institutionally-critical imagination living on the intersection of art and technology.
