he seventh episode of the Islands of Kinship (IOK) podcast brings a conversation between the curators Veronika Čechová and Tereza Jindrová from Jindřich Chalupecký Society, Prague with Kris Dittel, an independent curator and researcher who helped to develop one of the new artist commissions and thematic group exhibitions within the IOK program line Family and Kinship in 21st Century.
The talk covers the exhibition project Unruly Kinships which took place at Temporary Gallery in Cologne, Germany in 2023, the exhibition series Beyond Nuclear Family developed by the Jindřich Chalupecký Society curatorial team between 2020 – 2023, as well as one of the new IOK artist commissions created by the artist Pauline Curnier Jardin & Feel Good Cooperative, presented at Temporary Gallery and the Prague City Gallery in 2023.
