Important part of Islands of Kinship is to gather outside reflection of the objectives of the project via various channels. One of these means of feedback is a series of memes created by artists and creators who are observing and actively commenting on the art world with its peculiarities and issues. The second round of custom made memes was created by Cem A., an artist rooted in anthropology, tackling themes of survival and alienation through a hyper-reflexive lens.

Cem A. has left his artistic imprint on prestigious venues like the Louisiana Museum and Barbican Centre. As an artistic advisor to documenta Institut, his influence spans diverse exhibitions and lectures at institutions like the Royal College of Art London.
